Ideal candidates are people with mild to moderate scalp issues, such as dry, flaky scalp, product build up, damaged or thinning hair due to stress, hormones, genetics, irritants, medications and/or medical conditions. Keravive can benefit all scalp types and is also a good preventive and maintenance treatment to keep the scalp and hair healthy.

While Keravive is safe and effective for most people, some individuals may not be ideal candidates due to factors that could increase risks or impact results. Medical clearance may be required for certain conditions. Please consult with your healthcare provider if you are unsure. Precautions to consider:

• Pregnancy - consult with your healthcare provider first.
• Accutane - must wait at least 6 months.
• Hair transplant surgery - must wait at least 6 months.
• Compromised skin (sunburn, open wounds or sores, infection, rash) in the treatment area.

You may see results from Keravive as soon as 4 weeks after your first treatment, although best results are usually visible after a series of at least 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks a part, complemented by the take-home peptide spray to improve hair vitality between sessions.

The effects can last for months, depending on your hair growth cycle and scalp condition. To maintain your results, you can repeat the treatment twice a year and continue using the take-home peptide spray daily.

The Keravive treatment does not require downtime, which allows individuals to resume their normal activities immediately following the procedure. Your scalp may experience temporary irritation, tightness, tingling, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on scalp sensitivity.

Keravive utilizes the vortex technology of HydraFacial to cleanse and stimulate the scalp by opening hair follicles with light suction and gentle exfoliating tip, extracting excess oil and follicle-clogging debris such as dead skin cells and hair product buildup. A peptide complex solution containing biomimetic growth factors and skin proteins is also infused into the scalp to nourish the hair follicles leaving a clean, refreshed, and hydrated micobiome to support healthy, natural hair growth.

• Avoid the use of aggressive exfoliants, scubs, etc. on the scalp 7 days prior to treatment.
• Arrive to your appointment with clean, dry hair and free of styling products.

• Avoid using a hair dryer within an hour of the treatment.
• Avoid washing your hair for at least 4 hours after treatment.
• Avoid sweaty, outdoor activities for at least 24 hours.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure on the scalp for at least 24 hours. We recommend using an SPF 30+ sunscreen spray,  mist, or powder designed for hairlines/scalps, or protective clothing and accessories like a hat when exposed to the sun.
• Avoid the use of aggressive exfoliants, scrubs, etc. for 7 days post treatment. For best results, use the Keravive peptide take-home spray daily.
• Wait at least 2 weeks post treatment before you chemically treat your hair or receive any PRF treatments.
