To further enhance your results, advanced modalities may be incorporated such as lymphatic drainage or gua sha massage, microdermabrasion, light chemical or enzyme peel, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, high frequency, oxygen therapy, microcurrent, ultrasound, cold globes, hot stones, and more. Who is a good candidate?

Facials are ideal for individuals of all skin types who want to enhance their skin health and address specific skin issues like dryness, aging, or acne.

Who is not a good candidate?

While facials are safe and effective for most people, some individuals may not be ideal candidates due to factors that could increase risks or impact results. Medical clearance may be required for certain conditions. Please consult with your healthcare provider if you are unsure. Precautions to consider:

Patients who are undergoing treatment for skin cancer - consult with your healthcare provider.
Compromised skin (dermatitis, sunburn, open wounds or sores, infection) in the treatment area.
Please notify me if you a have history of cancer, blood clots, bacterial/viral/fungus infection, heart, kidney, or liver failure, are pregnant or nursing, on Accutane in the last 6 months, have a pacemaker, internal defibrillator, or a history of seizures as these will limit certain tools and products I am able to use.

When will I see results?

You can usually see visible skin appearance and texture improvements immediately after a facial treatment.

How long do results last?

They can last anywhere from a few weeks to a month. Regular sessions are recommended to maintain these benefits.

Is there anytime downtime or side effects?

There is typically no downtime following a facial. Following the treatment, some individuals may experience slight redness or sensitivity, which usually disappears within a few hours or up to a few days.

How does a facial treatment work?

Expect a thorough cleansing of the skin, usually followed by steam, exfoliation, extractions (if needed), and the application of a mask and moisturizers. Other modalities may be included depending on the facial performed. The process will rejuvenate and refresh your skin, leaving it looking and feeling revitalized.

Before + After Care

Before Treatment

Avoid direct sun exposure, including tanning beds, for at least 24 hours prior to treatment. Use SPF 30+ if sun exposure is unavoidable.
Avoid skin irritants (products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide or acne medications, vitamin C if strong or acidic, hydroquinone, AHAs/BHAs, astringents, depilatories, waxing, shaving, etc.) or any other exfoliating products in the treatment area for at least 24-72 hours prior to treatment.
Depending on what treatment is performed, avoid strong blood thinners at least 3 days before your treatment as these may increase the risk of mild petechiae (little red spots) or slight bruising. Consult with your healthcare provider before discontinuing.
Avoid facial injections or fillers, lasers, and other facial treatments for 1-2 weeks before receiving a facial.

After Treatment

Most people can return to their normal activities immediately, however, strenuous exercise, sweating, excessive heat, swimming, and sauna use should be limited for at least 24 hours.
Avoid direct sun exposure, including tanning beds, for at least 48 hours following treatment. If sun exposure cannot be avoided, apply a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) SPF 30+ to treatment area.
Avoid skin irritants (products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide or acne medications, vitamin C if strong or acidic, hydroquinone, AHAs, BHAs, astringents, depilatories, waxing, shaving, etc.) or any other exfoliating products in the treatment area for at least 24-72 hours.
Avoid putting on makeup immediately after.
